The Emet Boron Operations Directorate, established in 1958 in the Emet district of Kütahya, produces colemanite ore from two open pits: Hisarcık and Espey. The Hisarcık-Espey formation, which contains the world's largest and most significant colemanite reserves, accounts for approximately 40% of global reserves and 55% of Turkey's reserves. This facility, with an annual production capacity of 350,000 tons of sulfuric acid, produces 1,060 tons of 100% concentrated sulfuric acid and 15 MW of electrical energy daily. In addition, 46 tons/hour of steam at 8 bar pressure can be supplied to existing boric acid facilities upon request.

For our country, which has the world's largest boron reserves, this project holds significant importance. We provided solutions for the IP CCTV system, network system, public address and emergency announcement system, structured cabling & cabinet systems, telephone system, and professional imaging systems.
